This will be our second holiday season in our Fresh Meadows apartment. Last year we decorated for the holidays for the first time. This year we decorated on the day after Thanksgiving. We put on some holiday music, cleaned out the closet, and put up all of our decorations. We took loads of pictures, which you can see in the album below:

Pre-Halloween Dinner

On October 1, we went to Hicks (a nursery) to visit Otto the ghost - he is there every Halloween season - with Adam, Maya and Ryan. Matt, Diana and Marissa caught up with us later. We had lots of fun going through Otto's story of capturing "Bad Bart" in the midwest. We all went on a hayride together, and I sat next to Otto (this was very cool). I was very impressed that Ryan didn't get scared of the life sized Otto.

I came home early from work today because of a power failure, you know there really isn't much for an IT guy to do when there is no power. Anyway, when I got home I sat down on the couch and looked over and saw a lump. Apparently, Smokey snuck under the slipcover onto the top of the couch. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Enjoy!
